Director Of Business Development
Full-Time; $85,000 - $115,000 BASE salary PLUS incentive plan! (based on experience)
Position: Community Engagement Associate
Status: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $18.25/ hour

Your Team:
This position will report directly to the Director of Customer Experience. This position will work closely and respectfully with all other AYR team members.  

This position will guide, encourage, support, communicate with, motivate, and ooze positivity to our customers and community. 
Position Summary:
The Community Engagement Associate will be in charge of digital fulfillment of the AYR membership programs. The Community Engagement Associate will be primarily responsible for community success tracking of one of our highest customer enclaves, the Accelerators, by monitoring the attendance at live workshops, engaging customers in facebook communities, monitoring the group’s zoom meetings with accelerators to keep them on track, managing the accelerator calendar and taking overall accountability for this group to ensure year to year renewals of the Accelerator Program. The Community Engagement Associate will also be responsible for community management of our Stage to Scale Customer group by keeping customers engaged through video announcements and other general communications on facebook groups after Launch. The Community Engagement Associate is a creative and passionate community manager, comfortable with online communities and social media, with excellent communication skills, and with the ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment with a distributed team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Community success tracking (monitoring accelerators and making sure they are following success pathing particularly for Reach Live Accelerators
  • ​Overall accountability for the Accelerator group and also engaging all general Customers in Facebook communities, zoom meetings, and on calls
  • ​Build and maintain a calendar of content, events, and activities designed to keep Accelerators engaged with the product and with AYR 
  • ​Own community managing for Stage to Scale group after Launch (keep people engaged, create and post video announcements on Facebook groups)
  • ​Monitor Attendance of AYR workshops by customers.
  • ​Moderate forums, answer members' questions, pass on actionable feedback to Sales and Customer Experience team, and help grow our budding community
  • ​Monitor community stats, track engagement, and issue resolution
  • ​Collaborate on defining and helping to execute the community engagement strategy driven by the Director of Customer Experience
  • ​Create player-facing resources and content such as articles, guides, videos, and FAQs to help enhance and deepen the customer experience
  • ​Develop a messaging plan that aligns with content calendar and is designed to keep engagement across these channels at a maximum level
  • ​Help stimulate and moderate Customer conversations across communication channels
  • ​Build an identity and develop an active and engaged relationship with AYR Customer
  • ​Assess the community’s pulse, understand community concerns, and communicate community status to the AYR Customer Experience team
  • ​Report on areas of concern for the community, surface trending topics/threads, and share/contextualize engagement metrics and KPI’s
  • ​Function in fast-paced situations and make quick judgment calls based on best practices, brand objectives, and insights
  • ​Work cross-functionally with the Sales, Marketing and CE departments to analyze performance and plan for optimization
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to create quality documentation for internal and external audiences
  • ​Strong understanding of social media services, mechanics, and trends, especially Facebook
  • ​Strong organizational skills and an independent, self-motivated work style
  • ​Proficiency with G-suite, particularly Docs, Forms, and Sheets.
  • Previous experience with customer first-contact and de-escalation a plus
  • ​Live and breathe digital community life

Position Summary:
We are looking for an extremely bright, experienced Director of Business Development that loves the idea of growing a business through partner relationships! The focus is to create and nurture relationships that drive revenue for the Advance Your Reach.
This is a hands-on role working with our existing and new partners managing the relationships and ensuring that client satisfaction, revenue growth, partner engagement, and support of the partners are reaching desired metrics. This role requires high WOO (winning others over), is personable with a strategic, sales mind and a win-win attitude. They are responsible for connecting with potential partners and winning them over.
They are required to create win-win opportunities and deals and to be creative, nurturing and to enthusiastically support and encourage our partners while having firm boundaries. They are responsible for seeking out new business opportunities for our organization. They will develop, coordinate and implement plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
  • Drive business growth by identifying opportunities, tracking new markets, and building sustainable client relationships
  • Plan persuasive approaches that will convince potential clients to do business with our organization
  • ​Drive sales through Partner relationships
  • Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits
  • ​Research partners, identify key players and generate interest
  • ​Collaborate with the Visionary, and Leadership Team (primarily the Director of Marketing, Stages and Sales) to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
  • ​Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with AYR’s contract guidelines and policies
  • ​Work with the Partnership Coordinator to craft and deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internally
  • Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships (with the Partnership Coordinator)
  • ​Work with the Finance department to make sure AYR is getting paid from partnerships with receivables
  • ​Keep a great ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
  • ​Work with the Partnership Coordinator and the Director of marketing to strategically plan out and execute partner promotions. 
  • ​Recruit, Manage and Nurture all Partners (including the Digital Launch). The Director of Business Development will create the processes, or improve upon existing processes, that involves all of these efforts for our annual digital product launch, partner webinars, and cross-promotions. They will make sure that our promotions with partners are fully maximized. This includes project managing all things partner-related for our annual digital launch, including but not limited to: weekly reporting of partner recruitment activity and wins, gifting efforts to nurture top partners and/or their team, own all communication as the AYR liaison for all things partner-related, work with Marketing and Tech to determine appropriate affiliate platforms or portals and manage / oversee their build-out, maintain affiliate platform, create content calendar for partner managers, send launch assets to partners, manage all communication in Affiliate FB group, scheduling and attending partner success call, taking notes and following through with any action items from those calls, recruit FB lives for large partners, create/send leaderboard email templates, create planning video for small partners to maximize promo success, create calendar / list of partner commitments to hold them accountable, affiliate reporting for opt-ins and sales, post-launch auditing of opt-ins and sales
Key Performance Indicators:
These are the KPI’s that we will objectively measure in regards to the success of the Director of Business Development’s Position:
  • Affiliate Recruitment & Reporting: The Director of Business Development will actively recruit new partners (goals to be established in the first 90 days of job) and provide regular reporting to show goals being hit and partner deliverables received. 
  • Revenue Generated by Partnerships: Goals will be set for Revenue Generation by this role within the first 90 days of starting in this position, and weekly metrics will be tracked to ensure rev gen goals are met.
Scorecard:
The better we service our clients and affiliates as well as provide outstanding support, the happier they are. We want to create Raving Fans in our Partners and this position can do exactly that.  
  • Scorecard. Work with the Integrator to develop any additional KPIs to be shared on the Department Scorecard at each weekly L10 Meeting.
