We often believe that bringing our message to a stage is what will change people’s lives but the stage is really just the platform that will allow you to offer the enormous continued value of your products and services. Each stage presents a catalytic moment for someone to connect with the solution you have for their problem. Whether you provide consulting, done-for-you services, coaching, physical products, or digital products, the stage is how you bring that to your audience. Social media is a world-wide stage that you can step onto right now! It’s never been easier to connect with potential clients and customers and to bring your message and products to the world.
My Story
My story begins in Texas, where I was a youth pastor. When I first took over the youth group, we had three students attending. Fast forward, we grew to 800 kids in a town of 15,000 people. How? Through the power of stages. I brought in speakers from all over – entrepreneurs, financial advisors, health and wellness experts, and more. I saw firsthand the power of stages and how it can transform people’s lives.
One of the speakers I brought in was the father of Rachel Scott, the first student killed in the tragic Columbine school shooting in 1999. Just one month before Rachel was killed, she wrote in her journal, “I have this theory that if one person will go out of their way to show compassion, that it’ll start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness will go.” Rachel knew what she stood for. My question to you is – do you know what you stand for?
You and I are the solution. You have the opportunity to be the solution. I truly believe that everyone has the power to make a positive impact on the world. Through one speaker on one stage, my life was changed. My formerly fractured relationship with my dad was restored, forgiveness followed, and now, I can’t and won’t stop sharing about how stages can CHANGE LIVES.
